Memories

Yesterday i was watching some kids play and i realised how times have changed....
Growing up in Mathare i still have the best memories....going for a swim at (Kita)...ha ha that was a river near Utalii...the swim was a must....we didn't have the luxury of going to a cleaner swimming pool....but they were the best moments...

Then there was Kalongo or cha baba na cha mama...All girls wanted to be mothers and since i was short i was always the baby...Damn i didn't have a chance to have my childhood crush as my Hubby..ha ha...but the experince taught us how to be good mothers...

Sinya Gondi was my favourite....going after the bad boys.....its sad that most of the guyz who were acting as bad boys turned out to be real thieves...guess the game brought out our personalities...

We didn't have computer games then and most of our days were spent trying to come up with new games no wonder our generation is more creative...ha ha all in all i we have the best childmoods...

Lets Play Pretend

I play pretend with my heart and for a minute am happy,
I pretend that you really care and I might be your woman,
Lets play pretend and make my heart smile for a minute,
I want to pretend, laugh, love just for another minute or so,
I want you to play along just make me forget just for a minute,
I almost forgot we are pretending and that you really don't care,
I hope you are pretending not to care because when I look at you,
Your eyes tell a different story I just hope what I see is love,
For that minute I was happy and I hope we will play again.

Why Mapenzi Matamu

People ask why am obssesed with using Mapenzi Matamu in all my mails? and am like why not Mapenzi Matamu (Sweet Love)...

I love Bongo Music.. and when i first heard Ray C sing about Mapenzi Matamu...i knew thats the the line i will be using...it will be my signature...Now that i have cleared the mapenzi matamu bit i can breath easy (Lol)..

Talking about love brings a smile to my face coz everyone has a story to tell and when am having a chat with my girlfriends Love is always on the agenda.... guess we were all born to love.
The other day i was listnening to a song by Kenny Rogers (I love Country music), the song title was "Love don't leave here anymore" and i related to the song. Attimes we all go through that phase, where someone you love hurts you, could be a friend, family member or a boyfriend you just feel let down. At the end of the day its love that brings a smile to your face...Any time i feel that love has gone sour i write and write even its nothing special...it does magic.....like am doing right now.......

Hope

Nothing in life comes easy, we have to fight all odds to get what we want. I have been reading the story of Joseph and David (My favorite s...
